• We take vandalism very seriously as it home for our residents. Vandalism shall mean and include any and all acts of destruction or damage, in any form of any property owned/ managed by Nalanda Living. The residents found guilty of committing such an offence can be evicted from the hostel and be required to pay all costs incurred by Nalanda Living due to such damage or destruction.
• The residents should not litter in rooms, bathrooms and common areas in the premises such as reception, staircase, and lounge areas etc. and help us keep it clean at all times.
• Common use items (e.g. microwave, iron, kettle, induction top, magazines, crockery, common TV units, etc) provided by Nalanda Living, shall be used only in the common areas (not in individual rooms)
• No furniture or furnishings in the common areas of the House may be moved by the residents at any point of time.
• Any damage to the House must be reported by the residents immediately to Nalanda Living representatives. The residents will be liable to pay for the expenses or costs to the property arising from use/misuse of the same by the resident, except for damages caused by normal wear and tear.
• The keys of almirah and rooms given to residents must be kept safe, loss/damage to the keys will attract penalty. Keys should not be changed without informing Nalanda Living representative.
• All food kept in the room/ common area/ pantry must be stored in suitable containers or wrapped tightly to prevent insects or rodents from accessing it. Stale, unfinished or waste food must be immediately thrown in the dustbins provided in the pantry.

Live Like you live in your home

• At Nalanda Living we believe in fun activities but we all know it shouldn’t be without limits, generally anyone would never gamble, place betting or do drunkard behaviour in their homes. We expect the same from you while you live in Nalanda Living properties.
• Behaviours such as intoxication (in any form), Consumption of Tobacco (in any form) use of substances like drugs, alcohol is strictly prohibited inside Nalanda Living Properties and any such incident may cause termination of agreement along with penalty decided by Nalanda Living management.
• Ragging in any form is prohibited. Legal actions will be exercised against preparators.
• For any gathering, Prior written permission from Nalanda Living representatives is required.
• Use facilities including water, electricity in appropriate manner with responsibility.
• Nalanda Living homes have fixed timing for entry and exits to ensure safety of its residents, please ensure that you follow these religiously.
• We love Animals but Pets Are not Allowed in Nalanda Living premises.
• Nalanda Living Representatives reserve the right to move residents to other rooms if there is a necessity/emergency.
• Collect your parcels ASAP from reception/delivery boy.
• Above rules are indicative and please contact your hostel’s Nalanda Living Representative to have complete details of rules.
  Nalanda Living reserves the right to change/amend/add/delete any of the rules without prior notice.
